Teen Advisory Board
The Teen Advisory Board is a group of six grade students that help the library by making recommendations for improvements to the library’s physical space, book collection and programming. During school activity periods, students shelve books, help with bulletin boards, and perform other tasks that keep the library running smoothly. Also, during the year, students may participate with other students in the district in game and movie nights. These extra activities are held either at the Mill Pond Library, Westborough High School Library or The Westborough Public Library.
NOTICE: Members of the Teen Advisory Board are invited to the Westborough Public Library on Thursday, December 11th at 4:15 for a presentation of their new Makerspace. A makerspace is a new concept in libraries which gives patrons a place in which they can gather, create, invent and learn together. Library director, Mrs. Ambrosino, and staff from WTV, will be on hand to help students create a Teen Advisory Board video which we will share on our own webpage. Sixth grade students will need to find their own transportation to and from the public library. We will meet from 4:15 - 5:30. Hope you can join us for this fun afternoon!
