Read from home on Sora all year long.
Sora is a student reading app from OverDrive. SORA provides access to ebook and audiobooks from your school and public library. At Mill Pond School, students have access to SORA books! This resource offers free ebooks and audiobooks. Please follow the steps below to gain access.
Mill Pond School subscribes to the World Book Online. Worldbook is a great database to use. Hundreds of thousands of easy-to-understand articles, captivating images, original videos, integrated primary sources, and eBooks. It is safe and credible information written for children at a variety of reading levels. This is a great resource for research in grades 4-6.

How to access Sora at home?
The steps below outline how to log into SORA (ebooks) in order for you to enjoy reading this summer!
STEP 1
Install the Sora app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or go to your browser and type soraapp.com.
STEP 2
In Sora, find your school, and type in Mill Pond.
STEP 3
Choose Westborough Grades 4 - 6
STEP 4
Then sign in with your school username and password.
STEP 5
Browse the EXPLORE tab and borrow a book. Your book will open so you can start reading right away.
STEP 6
The Shelf will show you all your books.
Select Open book or Open audiobook to read or listen to the book.
Follow Mill Pond!
Book Checkout: You can take out books for two weeks. If you need the book longer, see Mrs. Gardner, Mrs. Johnson, or Mrs. U to renew the book(s).
